Romanian is basically a Romance language with a grammar similar
to Latin. This resemblance makes it easy for anyone who speakes
French, Italian or Spanish to recognize words and phrases
in Romanian. The Romanian vocabulary also contains words of
Dacian, Turkish, Slav or Greek orrigin, showing once more
the various influences to our language and civilisation.
